I wrote recently about wearing brooches, and now I find myself going gaga over drop-temple sunglasses. Has Grandma chic officially taking over my brain? Faded florals, gaudy brooches, doctor bags, crocheted fabrics, lace-up booties…these are all things that I negatively associated with white-haired ladies for most of my life and now I find myself drawn to these stylish elements.
For being a newcomer to the sunglasses market, of course Diane von Furstenberg is already making her way to the top with unique and cool designs that look great on women of all ages.

These oversized skinny black resin frames with brown gradient lenses have such a perfect drop temple design. The look is modern, yet vintage-inspired, and I can see every woman looking classy in these. I love the details like the overlapping edge along the side where the frame meets the temple. This drop-temple style is going to be so popular for spring and summer 2010!

Taupe is the color for spring! The same drop-temple design also comes in a translucent taupe, which I think is amazing.
